Sons of Erin Division compete at Pride in the Pit once more

The Sons of Erin Division competed once again in the Pride in the Pit BBQ contest at Father Ryan High School's homecoming!

While we may not have won (again), we received many compliments on our food, particularly the smoked cheddar and swiss cheeses. 

Local AOH Chapter Continues to Support the Nashville Community

NGAC Music City Invitational

April 2, 2022

The Nashville Gaelic Athletic club hosted the Music City Invitational hurling tournament.

AOH was the proud swag sponsor of the event. And have attended several NGAC events building a great partnership. 


Irish Heritage Contest

March 17, 2022

Once again, second graders across the diocese competed in the Irish Heritage Contest sponsored by the Sons of Erin Chapter of the Ancient Order of Hibernians. These students demonstrated their ability to research, write, and illustrate information about St. Patrick. 


$500 Tuition Voucher winner was Sam Tilson from Holy Rosary Academy

$250 Tuition Voucher winner was Sofia Montagnino from St. Henry School

$100 Tuition Voucher winner was Brook Beasley from St. Edward School

Sumner County Irish Festival

March 5, 2022

AOH Nashville participated in the 2022 Sumner County Irish Festival.  With over 2000 record breaking attendees, the AOH was able to spread awareness of The Hibernians within the state.



Pride in the Pit Returns!

After taking a one-year hiatus due to COVID-19, Pride in the Pit returned to Father Ryan High School Homecoming on Friday October 1st! Many AOH brothers participated for the first time. We had a great day and met tons of new people.


One of these years we are gonna win this darn thing!

Meeting with Bishop Mark Spalding

August 7, 2020

After roughly six months of quarantine and isolation for many of the Sons of Erin Division due to COVID-19, we finally had our opportunity to meet with Bishop Spalding. This was a tremendous opportunity for the Sons of Erin to introduce themselves to the Bishop and articulate the group's intent to support his objectives across the Diocese with particular emphasis on Catholic education.

Pride in the Pit

On Friday 27 September 2019, the Sons of Erin Division of the AOH competed in the Annual Pride in the Pit BBQ contest. This was a great event that allowed the group to socialize with many others in the Father Ryan and greater diocesan community. While we didn't win the contest, a great time was had by all.
